Jesse Eveland is a longtime high school athletic director and assistant principal that has always had a passion for painting and construction, and comes from a family with a variety of construction backgrounds. Ever since he was a high school student, Jesse has spent his summers, weekends, and breaks running painting projects. He has a wide range of experience in residential and commercial painting, ranging from interior/exterior of entire warehouse complexes, apartment complexes, interior/exterior painting of professional businesses, and of course interior/exterior painting of homes of all shapes, sizes, styles, and finishes. After 22 years in education, 16 years as an athletic director and assistant principal, Jesse decided to follow his passion in being a full-time business owner and painter. He prides himself in building strong relationships through effective communication while always listening to customers and understanding their needs. He also helps train his employees to that same standard of professionalism and customer service that he displays.
Jesse's sons, Jace and Peyton, are the "& Sons" in "Eveland & Sons". They are part of the crew for now, until they head off to play college football. Jace is going into his senior year at Redmond High School then he is likely off to Harvard University, or one of the other schools that he has received offers to play football for. He is part of the painting crew and is a runner for parts and materials when needed. Peyton is a sophomore at Redmond High School and is also part of the crew. He has an incredible talent of fixing and maintaining equipment when needed. Peyton is also likely a short timer on the crew as he is listed as the top offensive lineman in his class for the entire Pacific Northwest so he will likely be off to play college football as well in a couple years. In the meantime, the Eveland boys are learning life skills, customer service, and learning about work ethic as part of a successful crew!
1. Bid - I will personally come to your house to measure, inspect, and talk with you about your desires for the project. I will ask questions and can answer any questions you may have at that time about different factors and options, including the scope of work and the possibilities for products used. I will prepare a written bid.
2. Finalize Contract - This includes the scope of the work, timeline that fits your needs, products to be used, and price.
3. Color Selection - Color selection will be discussed during the bidding process but once the contract is finalized I can help you choose colors, if you'd like help. I can also put sample paint on your walls as the actual paint on the walls can look different then it does on a paint chart.
4. Prep Work - Prepping for a house to be painted is as important as the painting itself! We go above and beyond with the prep work to ensure that your house will look as good as possible and the paint job will last as long as possible. The required prep work will be discussed in the bidding process. It all starts with a thorough pressure washing to clean the walls and remove dirt, grime, and such. Then we scrape and sand any loose paint or material. We then prime all bare surfaces and use a peel bond if needed. (This does not take the place of proper scraping and sanding but is used synergistically with proper prep work) Then we make sure that the entire house is sealed as needed. As a licensed and bonded general contractor, Eveland & Sons Painting can also handle isolated water damage and/or aesthetic improvements as needed prior to painting.
5. Paint - The entire house will be painted with one or two generous coats, as needed. It will be painted with the desired paint, in the colors specified, during bidding and in the contract. We are meticulous with our lines and with eliminating overspray, runs, or anything that would take away from the perfect final product.
6. Final Walk Through - After completion and cleanup, I will personally do a final walkthrough with you to ensure that you are fully satisfied. I can address any needs at that time.
All of our employees are background and reference checked with a zero-tolerance policy so that you can fully trust everyone that is in your house or business. If you have concerns regarding this or are having an interior area painted that is a confidential, valuable, or highly sensitive interior area, I will work with you to develop a plan that works for you.
